Green light for Caulfield campus redevelopment
Monash University's Caulfield campus will be transformed into an interconnected and vibrant urban village after Victoria's Minister for Planning, Mr Rob Hulls, last week approved a priority development zone that gives the green light to the major redevelopment.

     
 

$1.2m counter-terrorism centre for Monash
The Victorian Government and Monash University last week signed an agreement to establish a Global Terrorism Research Centre at Monash.

Viral infection research wins Victoria Fellowship
Research into how the human body fights viral infections has led to Monash PhD researcher Ms Fleur Tynan last week being named one of six winners of the 2006 Victoria Fellowships.

     
 

Forum examines China, India and global warming
The question of whether China and India can achieve economic development without substantially increasing the risks of climate change was examined at the Monash Sustainability Forum, held in Melbourne last week.
