Monash University has been named among the top 40 universities in the world, in The Times Higher Education Supplement's world rankings.

     
 

Two Monash fellows for social sciences academy
Monash academics Professor Jane Kenway and Professor Ken Pearson have been elected fellows of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia.

Pharmacologist awarded honorary doctorate in Sweden
Professor Roger Summers of the Department of Pharmacology has been awarded a Doctorate of Philosophy honoris causa for his work in promoting research links between Monash and the University of Stockholm.

     
 

Slim tram design wins two Premier's awards
A design for a narrower Melbourne tram, made from aluminium, has won two Premier's Design Awards for a pair of Monash University Art and Design students.

Howitt Hall celebrates 40 years
About 200 past and present residents of one of the oldest Monash Halls of Residence, Howitt Hall, recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.

     
 

Monash team wins inaugural IT competition
