Malaysian Higher Education Minister visits Clayton
Opportunities to expand research links were high on the agenda when the Malaysian Minister for Higher Education, His Excellency Dato' Mustapa bin Mohamed, met with several senior Monash figures at the Clayton campus last week.

     
 

Professor named president of endocrine society
Monash endocrinologist Professor Leon Bach has been elected President of the Endocrine Society of Australia.

Career achievement award for pharmacy professor
Professor Bill Charman, Director of the Centre for Drug Candidate Optimisation at Monash University, has received the International Career Achievement Award in Oral Drug Delivery from pharmaceutical company Eurand and the Controlled Release Society (USA).

     
 

Student racers' German success
A team of Monash engineering students, who last month in Germany raced a car they designed and built, have returned from the international event with a respectable result.

Celebration of music with Kate Ceberano
Australian singer, songwriter and multiple ARIA award-winner Kate Ceberano is a special guest at a one-off jazz concert being held at the Robert Blackwood Concert Hall, at Monash's Clayton campus on Wednesday 11 October.

     
 

Excellence in Disability Support Awards presented
At a breakfast ceremony held at the Gippsland campus earlier this month, Disability Liaison Officer Ms Brenda Dack received the top honour at the Excellence in Disability Support Awards.

Choral society's 'All Night Vigil'
Rachmaninov’s 'All night vigil' will be recreated by the Monash University Choral Society on Saturday. For the first time in Australia the performance will adhere to the composer's original intention of including a boy alto soloist.
