Monash's distinguished alumni named
Three Monash graduates who have travelled very different paths to success last week received the university's Distinguished Alumni Awards for 2005.

     
 

Grant to publish letters of Florence's Renaissance man
Monash University academic Professor Bill Kent has received a A$300,000 grant from US-based philanthropic organisation the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to oversee an international project to publish a 20-volume set of letters by 15th century ruler 'Lorenzo The Magnificent' of Florence.
