This seminar will provide valuable information on building a successful research career. Dr Broad will give an insight into her research journey and an overview of her current research. Her success and experience as a female academic will encourage and inspire other women to achieve success both personally and academically.

Presenter: Dr Jacqueline Broad, ARC Future Fellow, School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies.  Jacqueline is currently engaged in a large ARC-funded project on the seventeenth-century feminist philosopher, Mary Astell (1666-1731) and preparing a modernised edition of Astell’s The Christian Religion as Profess’d by a Daughter of the Church of England for The Other Voice in Early Modern Europe: Toronto series and Iter Publishing.
