Description:
From student radicalism to global expansion, University Unlimited is the story of Australia's largest and most international university. Monash University Alumni Relations is delighted to be launching this book in conjunction with the Faculty of Arts as part of its 2012 Alumni Speaker Series.
The book was written by Monash researchers, Graeme Davison AO, Emeritus Professor of History, and Kate Murphy, a lecturer in contemporary history. Based on extensive interviews with staff, students and alumni, it covers the movers and shakers who have made Monash what it is today.
Join our alumni: Mr Max Gillies AM (BA 1966), Mr Julian Burnside AO QC (BEc 1972, LLB 1973), Mr Jon Faine (BA 1979, LLB 1981) and Dr Sally Cockburn (MBBS 1982) as they speak candidly with the authors about their days as Monash students and give insight into how we became the University we are today.
Copies of University Unlimited will be available for purchase on the night and panellists will be available for book signing. Some lucky audience members will win copies on the night.
