Issues resolved

Assessments and question database

  • When marking an assessment a warning message appears when resetting an assessment submission. This prevents assessment submissions from being accidentally reset.

Assignments

  • An edit button will now display for Section Instructors and Teaching Assistants who are viewing assignments that have been graded and returned to students. This will allow the comments of the assignment to be edited.
  • Assignments can now be sent to a group without the HTML Creator automatically turning off.

Discussions

  • In some situations, clicking the New message icon opened a pop-up window that displayed the following message: “There are currently no messages in this view.” This message no longer appears.

File browser

  • When Section Instructors/Designers attach a file to a message in a Discussion topic, the file is no longer additionally saved in the section Content folder. The file is now saved to My Files and a copy of the file remains with the message.

Grade book

  • A comma separated value (CSV) file with invalid column titles ( ;[]{} ) will not be imported.
  • The success or failure of the import attempt is displayed on the status report screen after the process.

HTML Creator

  • The HTML Creator is now available for use with the Mozilla Firefox 1.5 browser.

Mail

  • Student usernames will no longer display when the Display User Names in Mail tool and messages setting is set to false.

Media library

  • When creating a new entry using the HTML Creator, attaching a file will no longer remove the content that had been entered in the HTML Creator.

Organiser pages

  • When using breadcrumbs to return to the Home Page, the header and footer on the Home Page now displays correctly.
