In WebCT CE service Monash Student Id numbers, along with authcate user ids were included in the Grade Book by default. This functionality is not present in MUSO which is based on the WebCT Vista product. Many people find this very inconvenient, especially those who use the online assignment submission and Quiz tools, as the downloadable .csv version of the grade book needed considerable modification before it could be used to calculate and report on final marks.
The MUSO team has developed a customized solution to replacing this missing functionality, which was rolled into production on Thursday October 20th. This solution creates a column in each active section and for each enrolled student adds their Monash Student Id number.
- You can access your MUSO Grade Book, by clicking on your teach tab.
- The Grade Book is available from the Course Management Tools toolbar.
- Monash Student ID numbers will be automatically inserted into the grade book of all active sections. Section Instructors do not need to take any action.
