Delete Sections in Blackboard Manager (BbManager)

  1. In BbManager navigate to the section you wish to delete.
  2. Under the sub heading 'Section utilities' you will now have the option to 'Delete this section', an additional 'Section summary' will also be visible.

  1. Once selecting to delete a section you will be reminded of requirements prior to deletion and given the option to 'Confirm deletion' or 'Cancel'.

  1. You will also be provided a link to the Support site that informs you of how to "Identify linked files"

  1. When you choose the 'Confirm deletion' button the system will schedule your section to be backed up. You will recieve email confirmations throughout,  the same way the process for backing up a section in Blackboard works.
