Blackboard - Internet Explorer 7 Configuration Instructions

1. Go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options

2. Under Browsing History select Settings

3. Make sure that under Check for newer versions of stored pages that Automatically is selected.

4. Click OK

5. Select the Security tab at the top of the window

6. Select the Custom Level button.

7. Scroll down about half way down the list to Downloads and click Enable for the following items:

• Automatic prompting for file downloads
• File download.

8. Scroll to the bottom of the list and ensure that:

• Scripting of Java applets is set to Enable
• Logon is set to Automatic logon only in Intranet zone
  

9. Click OK

10. If you have made any changes you will receive the above warning. Click Yes

11. Under Pop-up Blocker click Settings

(Note: If "Turn on Pop-up Blocker" is not ticked you can skip to step 15)

12. Under Address of website to allow: type the following:

*.monash.edu.au

13. Click the Add button

14. Click Close

15. Click OK

Internet Explorer 7 should now be set up for Blackboard.
