Quicktime files don't play in IE
Symptoms
IE 6 and 7 (and possibly earlier) will not play Quicktime QTL files uploaded into Blackboard.
Severity
Low
Student's using IE 6 and 7 will not be able to play .qtl files that have been uploaded to Blackboard.

Resolution
The vendor is aware of the issue and will add the QTL file type to Blackboard, which will enable IE to recognise QTL files, as a future enhancement.
Workaround
You have two options:
- upload QTL files to a location of your choice not in Blackboard, and provide a link to it in Blackboard
- ask your students to use recent versions Firefox or Safari.
