My Files over quota - cannot upload files to sections

Symptoms

If a user is over their quota in My Files (via the gauge at the top-right corner of the page in the My Files area) and the total size of all files is not greater than their quota, they cannot add new files to sections.

Severity

Moderate

User roles affected

Staff (quota of 100 megabytes)

Students (quota of 25 megabytes)

Workaround

If the quota report does not reflect reality then contact MUSO Support, who can assist in resetting the quota.

If you have too many files, then you will need to remove sufficient numbers to bring yourself back under your quota.

Resolution

The vendor has provided a fix which can be run on demand.
