"My Computer" icon
Symptoms
Staff and students may not view the "My Computer" icon when attempting to upload files to Blackboard. This will occur if they have not accepted the Java Digital certificate on login.
The icon may appear to be a white box with a red cross inside it.
Severity
Minor May affect teaching staff or students and will not cause an interruption to normal business activities.
Workaround
Place your mouse cursor over the white box and move slowly over the icon until your mouse pointer changes to a hand, then clicking, this will allow files to be uploaded.
Users can contact MUSO Support for assistance with accepting the digital certificate.
Resolution
Accept the digital certificate.
