Kirrily HammondCurator - Collection Kirrily Hammond is the Curator of the Collection at the Monash University Museum of Art. She has worked in the arts sector since 1995, with previous positions held at Canberra Museum and Gallery; Megalo Access Arts Print Workshop, Canberra; Australian Pavilion, Venice Biennale; and the National Gallery of Victoria. Kirrily completed a curatorial Masters degree in 2003 and in 2005 she was awarded a Harold Wright Scholarship to study the prints & drawings collection of the British Museum, London Curatorial projects include 15 Minutes of Fame; 20 Years of Pop Prints, NGV International 2004, Extra-Aesthetic; 25 Views of the Monash University Collection, MUMA 2005; Reverie 2006, Materiality 2007, Fictions 2008 and Mira Gojak 2010 at Switchback Gallery, Monash University Gippsland Campus; Premonitions: The Monash University Collection 1961-2007, McClelland Gallery+Sculpture Park 2008 and Richard Lewer: Nobody Likes a Show Off, MUMA 2009. Kirrily is also an artist who completed a BAVA (Hons) at Canberra and Glasgow Schools of Art in 1997. Represented by commercial galleries in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne, her work is held in numerous private collections, as well as the Wollongong University, the Australian National University, Latrobe Regional Gallery and the Warrnambool Art Gallery Collections.
