PhD Selection Criteria

Applicants for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy must have obtained either:

  • a bachelors degree with honours I or IIA in a relevant field;
  • a masters degree in a relevant field which contains a significant research component; or
  • an approved medical degree together with research experience.

Undertaking a PhD represents a major commitment on the part of the student, supervisor and institution.
