Dr Virginie Etienne
Executive functioning and driving. Study in normal ageing and in Alzheimer's disease
Virginie Etienne is currently a French post-doctoral fellow at the MUARC (Endeavour Research Fellowship). She had just completed her PhD in Neuropsychology in January 2008. Her PhD research focused on the role of executive functioning in driving with early Alzheimer's disease. Her current research interests include older drivers' safety (age-related cognitive changes) and improving assessment tools of fitness to drive involving the driving simulator. In addition, she has an interest in younger drivers with brain injuries who need driving skills rehabilitation.
