Ms Erin Cassell is a Senior Research Fellow at MUARC. She has qualifications in sociology and public health. Her current research includes qualitative and quantitative research on womens injury in the home, sports and farm injury and the implementation and evaluation of injury prevention interventions, particularly at the community level. Her former work with the Commonwealth Department of Health and Family Services developing the National Goals and Targets for Injury Prevention and Control and the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation provided her with broad knowledge of, and experience in policy development, strategic planning and the development and evaluation of interventions. She is MUARCs designated support person in the area of community injury prevention/safe communities and represents MUARC on relevant committees and forums.
