Monash College Diploma Part 1: Learning studies and e-learning

The Diploma Part 1 is comparable to Australia Year 12. You will undertake specialised study to understand your own preferred style of learning, the type of teaching and learning you experienced in secondary school, and how to make a smooth transition to being a successful university student.

You will be given the necessary knowledge and tools to help you become an independent learner with strong skills in critical, analytical and creative thinking and a deep understanding of research techniques. You will track your personal growth in this area through the use of e-learning portfolios. Other units provide strong grounding in your chosen discipline.

Monash College Diploma Part 2: Equivalent to first year university

In Part 2 of your Monash College undergraduate diploma program you will undertake the equivalent of first-year university studies.

One advantage of the Monash College pathway is that your lecture classes are smaller than they will be at university, which allows you to make strong links with your lectures and other students.
