For the Bachelor of Computer Science, the elective unit must be Mathematics for Engineers MCD4170 from the Diploma of Engineering Studies
For the Bachelor of Software Engineering, the elective unit must be Mathematics for Engineers MCD4170 from the Diploma of Engineering Studies
For the Bachelor of Business Information Systems, the elective unit must be from those provided by the Faculty of Business and Economics
For the Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems, students can elect to undertake any Monash College Part 2 unit

^ Students who intend to progress into the Bachelor of Computer Science or the Bachelor of Software Engineering do not have the option to undertake MCD3280 Computer Programming 2, and must undertake MCD3220 Systems Analysis and Design.
* Trimester 4 Electives should be consistent with intended Monash University degree requirements
For the Bachelor of Computer Science, the elective unit can be either Computer Programming 2 MCD3280 from the Diploma of IT Studies or any Monash College Part 2 unit offered at your college location
For the Bachelor of Software Engineering, the second elective unit must be Engineering Profession MCD4230 from the Diploma of Engineering Studies
For the Bachelor of Business Information Systems, the elective unit must be from those provided by the Faculty of Business and Economics
For the Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems, the elective unit can be either System Analysis and Design MCD3220 (if not already taken as a core unit) or Computer Programming 2 MCD3280 (if not already taken as a core unit) both from the Diploma of IT Studies or any Monash College Part 2 unit offered at your college location
