Big Brother Tipping Competition
With a new season of Big Brother underway, it is time to launch the Monash Community Card Big Brother Tipping Competition.

It’s free to enter for all cardholders and all you need to do is email us your tip as to who will be the last TWO surviving housemates in Big Brother 2007.

$1,500 in Wish Gift Cards (redeemable at participating Woolworths and Safeway Supermarkets, Caltex Woolworths and Caltex Safeway fuel outlets, Food For Less, Flemings, BIG W, Dick Smith Electronics, Dick Smith PowerHouse, Tandy, BWS, First Estate or Dan Murphy's stores) have been set aside for this competition and all those correctly nominating the last 2 surviving housemates will split this prize pool.

Simply email the two housemates names along with your name and Community Card ID number (located on the back of your card) to the Monash Community Card team

Entries close 5pm Fri 18 May 2007 (only one entry per cardholder)

Wish Gift Cards
Due to popular demand, Monash University will soon be trialling the sale of Wish Gift cards!

Wish Gift cards will give you a 5% saving on your grocery, petrol and liquor purchases, and much more!

Wish Gift cards can be used at any participating Woolworths and Safeway Supermarkets, Caltex Woolworths and Caltex Safeway fuel outlets, Food For Less, Flemings, BIG W, Dick Smith Electronics, Dick Smith PowerHouse, Tandy, BWS, First Estate or Dan Murphy's stores.

$50 Wish Gift cards will go on sale soon at both the Co-op Bookshop, Clayton campus and the MUGSU shop, Gippsland campus. As a Monash Community cardholder, you can purchase Wish Gift Cards at the special member only discount of 5%, which means that you pay only $47.50.

A limited amount of Wish Gift cards will be sold initially for one month. If this trial is successful, cards will be sold on an ongoing basis.

Check the 'What's New' section of the Monash Community Card website for further details of when the Wish Gift Cards will be available.

Clayton CommUNIty Card Holders - HAMPER DRAW
The MSA will tonight be drawing the first of our five winners for a $1000.00 Hamper. The Prize includes Digital Video Camera, DVD's, Books + CD. The winner will be notified this week.

There are still 4 more fabulous hampers to be won, so make sure you get your entry vouchers in. 

To enter simply: bring your hamper voucher (Page 13 of the rewards handbook) to the MSA reception desk (Level 1, Campus Centre, Building 10 Monash Clayton) and fill out the entry details form. 

Entry vouchers will stay in the running for all of the hampers, so you only need to enter once to be in the draw to win one of five hampers.

If you are looking for a cheap and decent meal on the Clayton Campus then make sure you visit Wholefoods (Level 1 - Campus Centre). Show your CommUNIty Card when paying and receive a 10% discount on your meal.

John Medley Recreational Library at Clayton - NOW OPEN
The JML recreational library has been reopened by the MSA for CommUNIty Card holders only. So make sure you use this fabulous service to either borrow a book or dvd, chill out at lunch and read a great selection of papers and magazines or use the photocopying facilities. The JML is located on Level 1, Campus Centre, Monash Clayton.
