Postgraduate

In addition to the benefits provided by the campus-based student associations, postgraduates can take advantage of the offers listed below.

Monash Postgraduate Association

While all enrolled postgraduates are entitled to use the free services provided by the Monash Postgraduate Association (including advice and advocacy, seminars, social events and representation), only holders of the Monash Community card will receive the following offers:

• 50% discount on coffee and hot chocolate in the MPA lounge area;
• Up to 50% discount on MPA social functions (where an entry fee is charged);
• 10% discount on MPA merchandise;
• Discount on Melbourne/Monash annual Postgraduate Ball tickets.

Victorian College of Pharmacy Postgraduate Association

• discounted or free entry to the numerous VCPPA social and sporting events;
• Access to the Postgraduate common room which has tea and coffee making facilities, TV and DVD player, computer access and subscriptions to the Age, New Scientist and Time Magazine;
• free registration for the VCPPA annual symposium.

Gippsland Association of Postgraduate Students

• postgraduate orientation conference;
• representation, advocacy and advice;
• postgraduate lounge with kitchen facilities and table tennis;
• publications;
• seminars;
• social activities;
• and use of the minibus to attend seminars at metropolitan campuses.
