Monash University Choral Society presents
Brahms German Requiem

Celebrating our 45th year of Choral music

The Monash University Choral Society was founded in 1962, making it one of the oldest student-run clubs at Monash University, Clayton campus. MonUCS performs three concerts each year, in May, September and December, giving the community an opportunity to experience a diverse range of choral repertoire. Concerts in recent years have included the Australian premiere of the 1998 Broadway musical Ragtime, Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Requiem, Orff's Carmina Burana, Vivaldi's Gloria, Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance and The Mikado, and, in conjunction with the Melbourne University Choral Society and RMIT Occasional Choral Society, Mozart's Vesperae solennes de confessore, Haydn's Te Deum Laudamus and John Rutter's Gloria.
