Our season opens with an exciting concert of works that represent orchestral writing at the zenith of craft and inspiration. Schubert’s masterly Overture to Rosamunde is a glowing example of the composer’s boundless creativity. The much-loved Sinfonia Concertante is Mozart at his most inventive – an autumnal celebration of instrumental possibilities. Our concert is completed by Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8.
