The Master of Philosophy allows you to develop in-depth knowledge, expertise and skills through the application of research in the field of injury prevention.
You will gain experience in designing and implementing injury prevention research and contribute to our existing body of knowledge by applying, clarifying or interpreting that knowledge.
You can complete this course as a stand-alone program or use it as a pathway to a PhD.
You may choose to study any of the major areas of research MIRI offers. When you study with us, you will conduct a prescribed program of research. One of our expert staff will supervise you.

Your MIRI supervisor, in consultation with you, will develop your research program and report on your progress at regular intervals.
The Master of Philosophy is a university-wide master by research degree administered by the Monash Research Graduate School.
