What they say about us

While the views of independent experts can tell you a lot about a university, sometimes it helps to listen to people with personal experience.

Hear for yourself what students, graduates and industry have to say about us.

How do you condense years of complex research into a three minute presentation that is interesting for a general audience?

That’s the challenge that awaits graduate research students entering the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, which is being held at every Australian university and universities in New Zealand, Asia and the South Pacific.

The 3MT is a race against the clock for graduate researchers to present the most engaging, inspirational and concise summary of their research.

It’s a great way for budding researchers to develop essential communication skills and share their work’s significance with colleagues and the broader community. And they can win great prizes too.

Want to be part of the 3MT action at Monash University?

If you’re a Monash PhD or research master’s student visit the MIGR intranet to register your participation (Monash staff and student access only).

Not a graduate research student? You can join the audience at the Monash final on 3 September 2013, where you’ll see ground-breaking research explained with passion, enthusiasm and eloquence. That’s when we also select our best performer to represent Monash at the transnational 3MT final, this year hosted by the University of Western Sydney.
