Our researchers have used Monash as the spring board to take their ideas to the world.

Beginning in the 1970s with the pioneering IVF work of the Monash Institute of Reproduction and Development, continuing through the new millennium with groundbreaking stem cell research, and on to today's world-leading green chemistry research and advances in nanotechnology, we have always supported new ideas.

Recent success stories include Acrux, a Monash University spin-off company, which just a few years ago signed one of the biggest licensing deals in the history of Australian biotechnology, and Relenza, the anti-influenza drug now used around the world.
