Chapter 2: Admission to research master’s candidature

2.13 Intellectual property (ownership)

All graduate research candidates and their supervisors must discuss and resolve any intellectual property ownership issues pertaining to the proposed research prior to enrolment. The Intellectual Property and Confidentiality Declaration form (Monash only) certifying that this requirement has been fulfilled is signed by both parties and must be submitted on enrolment together with any deeds that are indicated on the form for the particular project. Candidates may not enrol without complete intellectual property documentation (see Chapter 6 for further information).
