2.5 Application for student visa (international students)
Monash University is a registered institution under the Streamlined Visa Processing (SVP) scheme. For doctoral applicants the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) will assess student visa applications according to Assessment Level 1 (low migration risk) criteria regardless of their country of origin. Also available is the Temporary Entry Overseas Students Information booklet, a comprehensive guide for candidates applying for a student visa to undertake research master’s or doctoral studies in Australia.
