Access Information
The Robert Blackwood Concert Hall has access, via three ramps directly into the foyer and then directly into the auditorium. An emergency exit in the north east corner of the auditorium provides further level exit.
Eight removable seats (A1 and 2, B1 and 2, C1 and 2 and D1 and 2) provide positions for wheelchairs.
A disabled toilet is situated in the auditorium level foyer.
The stalls area of the Robert Blackwood Hall is completely accessible via ramps outside the theatre leading to both upper and lower stalls-foyer levels. The auditorium floor is slopped, providing a gentle ranke in the seats without the use of steps.
The balcony area is accessible only via four lights of stairs. This steeply raked section also contains stairs between each row. For this reason, we do not recommend Balcony seating for patrons with limited mobility.
