Writing good sentencesThe sentence is the basic building block of any scientific writing. If you want to communicate clearly you must be able to construct grammatically correct, complete sentences. What makes a good sentence in academic writing? Tick all the correct features in the list below. 1,1,1,1 Sentences begin with a capital letter.;Sentences end with a full stop.;Sentences have a subject (a noun, a noun phrase or a pronoun).;Sentences have a main verb.
