Using an impersonal style in lab reportsSince scientific writing is usually presented in an impersonal, objective manner, the personal pronouns I, we, and you are generally not used in lab reports. There are several ways of avoiding using personal pronouns. Use passive sentences
Use third person pronouns
Use the report or its various sections as actor
