During the presentation

When presenting, what you say is not always as important as how you say it. A good presenter uses body language and voice to maintain the audience's interest and to help them understand his or her message.

During the presentation Body language:

  • Good posture
  • Purposeful movement
  • Useful gestures
  • Positive eye contact

During the presentation Voice:

  • Natural intonation
  • Well-placed pauses
  • Effective emphasis
  • Appropriate volume
