Explore your learning style preferences

The Index of Learning Styles (ILS) Opens in a new window, developed by Richard Felder, can be used to discover your own learning style profile. The ILS assesses your preferences across a set of four learning dimensions:

  • active/reflective,
  • sensing/intuitive,
  • visual/verbal, and
  • sequential/global.
