Expand your thinking and questioning skills
To start thinking about any topic, brainstorm to make links and connections between ideas and words. Think up as many ideas and questions as possible at the start. Then organise and refine your ideas and thinking.
- If you like learning by listening, brainstorm verbally and audio-record your thoughts.
- To organise your ideas and points in a linear fashion, you can use 'Outline mode' in MS Word to structure the headings and subheadings.
- To use your visual learning strengths, brainstorm and organise your ideas graphically.
