What further assistance is available at Monash?
If you find yourself working with a student with a learning disability or a mental health condition, remember that there is assistance available within Monash - not only for the students themselves but also to give you guidance as a staff member working with students.
Check the Resources section for Resources within Monash including:
- the Disability Liaison Unit (DLU)
- Learning Support available through the Centre for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching
- Counselling and other support services .
You may also find that the Administrative Administrative Officer for the Transition and Student Progress Committee in some faculties can help with difficulties arising from a range of personal or academic issues. Some faculties can provide a mentoring service and assist with advice about, and referrals to, appropriate university support services.
