Integrating quotations

As you situate your work in relation to that of other researchers in your area, you need to integrate references to their work into your own writing. This must be done in a way that will allow readers of your thesis to follow up the sources of your thinking for themselves, in the same way that you use the references in papers you read to lead you further into the field you are researching.

The appropriate conventions for formatting your references will be determined by the style you use.
