Why does my lecturer not respond?
You may not get an individual response
You are probably aware that your lecturers are administering their units for many students. They will not have time to address every enquiry.
Sometimes a lecturer will not respond because your query is best discussed with your fellow students on the unit's MUSO discussion boards. Or the question has already been answered and posted by the lecturer on your unit's MUSO site. The point here is to be aware of all your subject resources.
Terms of contact
Check your Unit Guide or MUSO 
site for timelines for responses, as well as contact details. If you haven't had a response to an email or phone message after that time, follow up with a polite reminder.
You can also ask Faculty administration staff or the OCLC if you are having difficulty making contact with a lecturer.
