Developing independent learners is one of the goals of the university but, remember, being independent doesn't mean you have to do it all alone. It does, however, mean that you need to work out what you need to do, and organise yourself to get it done.

Ensure that you connect with your learning community to help you make meaning from your learning. Engage with other students and your lecturers so that you take advantage of the support available.
