There are many useful resources to help you with your writing, reading and note taking, your approaches to study and to help you understand what is expected in different subjects and disciplines at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
We've taken the work out of searching, and selected some books, videos and other resource. Checking these may
- make life easier
- help with assessment
- provide a kick start to your study
- offer alternative strategies for the process of writing and studying- great if you’re stuck or looking for more efficient ways of doing things
- give insight into disciplinary expectations and conventions.
Choose a recommended resource
HandyRefs
Check the HandyRefs tab for printable Library guides to using the catalogue, study skills resources, finding unusual referencing examples and guides to research in subject areas. We also have a series of Rough guides to learning resources in disciplinary areas.
Library support
The Library provides special support for off-campus students 
including postal loans.
You can browse the Library catalogue for materials in the Language and Learning collection and make a loan request by placing a hold and selecting off-campus service to have the resource posted out to you.
