Understand the frameworks within which we live and grow

…That we begin teaching, the way the world is constructed in our minds and therefore in the institutional infrastructures of society … We've been attempting to teach that sort of thing so that my students grow to understand the frameworks within which they live, and grow to have some facility in using those frameworks to condition or shape their world. And as a result of that, if a person is differently able or conventionally disabled in some way, the way they would approach, and certainly the way they would approach that different ability and certainly the way I would approach that disability, depends on that sort of teaching and in other world they would understand the frameworks of reality that they have to deal with that in turn will help to liberate them or help them to climb out of the particular awkwardness that whatever condition they have will give them …
