Students

The focus of this section is on students with 'hidden disabilities', that is, learning disabilities or mental health conditions. Learning disabilities and mental health issues are essentially very different, but the impact on students' study can be similar. While there may be certain distinct differences which do need to be addressed for this cohort of students, inclusive teaching strategies will benefit all students by removing some of the invisible barriers which prevent them from learning successfully.

To support you in your teaching, this section will offer practical suggestions from staff at Monash who have implemented inclusive teaching practices.
