The use and abuse of IELTS

Professor Ingram was the Australian representative on the project in Lancaster that developed the IELTS test, and was subsequently IELTS Chief Examiner (Australia) for ten years to 1998. He was then on the Board of Directors of IELTS Australia for a further four years.
