Research skills development

Collaboration between the Library and the faculties benefits academic staff and students
Research skills development

Monash is one of five universities leading the adoption in Australia of the Research Skill Development (RSD) Framework developed at the University of Adelaide. The framework is being adopted as the backbone of the Monash education model, the Monash Passport, with Library staff working with academic staff to embed skills development within the curriculum. Students develop and demonstrate research skills in completing tasks within the context of their discipline.

Early successes in Library-Faculty partnerships speak of the quality outcomes of our embedded programs and have created increased interest in collaborative education models.
