Peninsula Health Medical Library is independent of Monash University Library and the two libraries work in cooperation. In addition to hospital staff, the library contributes to the learning, teaching and research activities of Monash staff and students based at the Frankston Hospital.

Borrowing from Peninsula Health Medical Library

Only site-based Monash University and Honorary staff and Monash University medical students on placement at any Peninsula Health location can borrow from this library service. To borrow, you need a current Monash University staff or student ID card and to register at the Peninsula Health Medical Library desk before borrowing.

The Peninsula Health Medical Library catalogue can be searched online. Electronic journals are accessible through the hospital's intranet. Contact the librarian for access information.

Within the Peninsula Health Medical Library collection there are Monash Library books for Monash student use. They can be found in Search but are not available for intercampus loan through the Loan requests function.
