East Gippsland Regional Clinical School Libraries are independent of Monash University Library and the two library services work in cooperation. In addition to hospital staff, the libraries contribute to the learning, teaching and research activities of staff and students based at East Gippsland Regional Clinical School sites.

Borrowing from East Gippsland Regional Clinical School Libraries

Only site-based Monash University and Honorary staff and postgraduate students, site-based Monash University MBBS students and locally based ambulance officers can borrow from these libraries. To borrow, you need a current Monash University staff or student ID card to register at each of the East Gippsland Regional Clinical School's Libraries.

The Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Library catalogue and the Central Gippsland Health Service catalogue can be searched online.

Within the East Gippsland Regional Clinical Libraries collection there are Monash Library books for Monash student use. They can be found in Search but are not available for loan through the Loan requests function.

Site based Monash University MBBS students may request books and audiovisual material from branch libraries through the Monash University Library catalogue. Items are sent to the hospital library for collection.
