Gippsland Library provides scholarly resources, study facilities, and research skills development programs to strengthen the learning, teaching and research activities of staff and students at the university's Gippsland campus. The library has collection strengths in:
The collection includes a range of teaching materials and equipment for use by students on education rounds, and a large selection of children's fiction, picture books and audiovisual material.
In addition, all Monash students and staff have access to extensive electronic resources via Search and can make use of items from libraries on other campuses, including by intercampus loan.
The upper floor of Gippsland Library is a modern flexible group study space, technologically enabled and adaptable. Personal study, peer collaboration and student-library staff interaction are supported in the redeveloped area.

Learning skills drop-in sessions, open to all students, run from week 2 and through to week 12 at the Gippsland Library. No bookings are required.

Information research and learning skills classes may be presented by Library staff as part of the academic programs for some units. General classes are also offered at the Gippsland Library. Check for classes held outside normal unit class times at the Gippsland Library and register online using the Library class booking system via my.monash, selecting Gippsland in the Campus dropdown list.
