About this resource

This subset of Hein Online is an image-based and fully searchable library collection. The library, which contains more than 300,000 pages, contains landmark legal works from the late 18th through the mid 20th centuries. It is based on the titles in "Bibliography of Early American Law" by Morris Cohen. In addition, titles from AALS Law Books Recommended for Libraries and early British and Commonwealth titles form part of the collection. It is expected that aproximately 500 new titles will be added to the collection annually.
