Monash University Library is redefining the role of a 21st century academic library in line with its mission in creative and innovative ways.

Recognising the revolution in scholarly communication, we, as much as, and in many cases more than, other academic libraries, have embraced the opportunities provided by new technologies and changes in research and pedagogy.

Recent years have seen a steady stream of Australian and international visitors to Monash, the request by the Australian Government for Monash to lead the Australian National Data Service (ANDS), improved performance in national surveys and a great deal of anecdotal evidence that are testament to this.
