All course durations entered on CRICOS are determined on the basis of the normal amount of full-time study required to complete the course and only includes any period of work based training which is a mandatory requirement of the course
All courses submitted to Monash International for registration on CRICOS and all courses registered on CRICOS are offered full time, on campus and include nomenclature consistent with the course award
Procedures are in place for informing MI of any changes to a CRICOS registered course
Information has been provided to the Monash International ESOS Compliance Manager where another provider is involved in the delivery of a course offered by the faculty
MARKETING AND RECRUITMENT
Marketing is conducted with integrity and accuracy
Staff involved in recruitment missions are trained in ESOS requirements prior to departure
Students qualifications and proficiencies are assessed by a suitably qualified person
ORIENTATION
Faculty based orientation programs are provided for each intake of international students and include information about academic progress and further study
STAFF TRAINING
An ESOS Compliance officer has been nominated and compliance responsibilities incorporated into their Position Description and annual performance appraisal
The faculty maintains a register of staff with ESOS related responsibilities
All staff with ESOS related responsibilities attended an ESOS training session during the preceding year
Information is made available at induction programs for ESOS requirements
Staff support is available to enable effective task allocation and carriage
STUDENT ENROLMENT
The faculty monitors the full time enrolment load of its international students by running the web based report twice a semester and following up as required
All students are enrolled in a full time on campus study load
No students are permitted to repeat a unit of study more than once as a part time final semester student
Approval for intermission is only given on compassionate grounds
Strategies have been developed and implemented to identify and assist international students at risk of breaching visa conditions relating to academic progress
RPL/CREDIT
A formal process exists in the faculty for conducting and recording RPL/credit
A record of students granted RPL/credit is signed by the student and a copy placed on central file
Where RPL is granted affecting course duration, MI is informed so that the change in course duration is reported via PRISMS
TEACHING STAFF AND PREMISES
Teaching staff have appropriate qualifications and experience
There are sufficient number of teaching staff for the number of international students under instruction in the faculty
Teaching resources are appropriate for the delivery of courses registered on CRICOS and are adequate for the number of students under instruction, including technological resources
Premises are adequate in terms of space and facilities for the courses to be delivered
