Clayton online eCOE application

This application is to be used by international students who require an electronic confirmation of enrolment (eCoE) from Monash in order to extend their course duration and renew their student visa.

You must ensure that you click on the correct Faculty and level of study to apply for your eCOE. If you are enrolled in a double degree course, please check which faculty administers the course in the relevant University handbook.

If you are enrolled in a degree at the Caulfield campus you MUST lodge your application for an eCOE at the Caulfield Service Centre. Application form for Caulfield students.

Course extension in Australia - general information

Under Government requirements (National Code of Practice 2007), a new eCoE can be issued and a course extended in Australia in limited circumstances. These are:

  • Compassionate or compelling circumstances
  • Implementation of intervention strategy for students at risk of not making satisfactory course progress
  • Approved deferment or suspension of study

Your faculty will decide whether your application for eCoE satisfies these grounds.

The eCOE will be emailed your Monash email account within approximately 5 working days.
